How quickly will I get a quote?

Clean Best replies to every enquiry within 24 hours and normally has a supervisor at the premises for a free walkthrough within 48 hours of that call. The fixed written quote follows within 24 hours of the walkthrough. If you are against a deadline — an inspection, a handover, a cleaner who has walked out — say so when you ring and we will tell you honestly whether we can move faster rather than promise it and disappoint you.

Why does the walkthrough happen so late?

Because for most of the industries on this site, the hour we would be cleaning is not a business hour. A restaurant kitchen at 2pm and a restaurant kitchen at 1am are two different buildings. A gym change room at midday tells you nothing. A warehouse on a Sunday tells you nothing. Clean Best walks the premises at the hour the work would actually happen, and that is the single reason the quote holds up in month six.

Do you have to see the premises before you can quote?

For anything commercial, yes. Clean Best will not price a premises it has not walked, because on this kind of work floor area is a poor predictor of effort — a small hard-worked kitchen is a bigger job than a large showroom. The walkthrough is free and carries no obligation. The price that comes out of it is fixed and confirmed in writing before the first visit.

What should I tell you on the first call?

The kind of premises, not the square metres. What equipment is in it. What hours it is genuinely empty. And what your current cleaner is getting wrong, which is usually the most useful thing you can tell us — it tells us where the scope is failing, and it is almost always a scope problem rather than an effort problem.

Is there a minimum job or a minimum contract?

There is no minimum contract and no lock-in term. Commercial work runs on a rolling agreement with thirty days notice either way. For a very small one-off job we may suggest combining tasks into a single visit so the callout is worth your money, and we will tell you plainly if a job is too small for us to do well rather than take it and do it badly.
