Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD(“Clean Best”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through cleanbest-commercialcleaning.com.au and in the course of quoting for and performing cleaning work. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Through the quote form: your first name, last name, phone number, email address, the kind of premises you selected, your preferred time to be called, and — if you choose to provide them — the address of the premises and a message.
- If you call or email us: whatever you tell us, plus your phone number or email address.
- In the course of the work: site access details, contact details for the people we deal with at your premises, and the records that go with a cleaning scope — induction records, audit reports and invoices.
We do not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers on this website, and we do not run a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What happens when you submit the form
The quote form on this site posts to a contact API operated for Clean Best, which emails the contents to hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au. The form also carries a hidden field that is never shown to you and that only an automated bot would ever fill in; if it is filled in, the submission is discarded. That is the only automated processing that happens to your enquiry.
What we use it for
- Replying to your enquiry and calling you back at the time you asked.
- Arranging and conducting a walkthrough of your premises.
- Preparing and sending your written quote.
- If you become a client: running the work, scheduling the cleaner, conducting the monthly audit, and invoicing you.
We do not use your details for anything else. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
Who sees it
The people at Clean Best who need it to do the work: the person who calls you back, the supervisor who walks your premises, the cleaner assigned to your site, and the person who invoices you. We use an email provider and a form-handling service to deliver your enquiry to us. We do not sell your information, we do not trade it, and we do not disclose it to anyone else except where we are required to by law.
What our cleaners do not do
This matters in some of the premises we work in, so it is worth being explicit. Cleaners working in medical or dental practices are instructed not to read, move or handle patient records, screens, radiographs, pathology forms or any document on a desk. Screens are cleaned only when logged out or blank. Documents are cleaned around, never moved. A written confidentiality undertaking from the cleaner assigned to your premises is available on request.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: kept while we follow up, then deleted.
- Client records: kept for as long as we are working for you, and afterwards for the period we are required to keep business and tax records.
- Site access details — keys, cards, alarm codes: returned and removed from our records when the cleaner changes or when the agreement ends.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a data breach occurred that was likely to cause serious harm, we would notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.
Accessing or deleting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983 and we will action it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason. If we cannot delete something — because we are legally required to retain it — we will tell you which record and why.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first on 1300 494 983 or hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. The date at the top is the date the current version took effect.
